On April 24-26, folklore ensemble “Russia” named after Lyudmila Zykina went on tour to Damascus, Latakia and Homs. The audience was presented a program consisting of instrumental compositions for Russian national musical instruments such as dombra, balalaika and accordion, as well as Russian folk songs and romances performed by Nadezhda Krygina, the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation.
