      In order to ensure the state’s security, protect people’s health and prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection entry into the Russian Federation is temporarily restricted for foreign citizens and stateless persons, including those arriving from Belarus and Belarusian nationals, from 00:00 local time on March 18, 2020 to 00:00 local time on May 1 2020.

      The restrictions will not be applicable to employees of diplomatic missions and consular establishments in Russia, drivers of motor vehicles serving international routes, aircraft, ship and railway crews, members of official delegations, holders of diplomatic, service and regular private visas arriving in Russia due to the death of a close relative, persons that permanently reside in the Russian Federation and transit air passengers.  

      Consular section in Damascus from 18 March 2020 temporarily suspends the acceptance of documents, registration and issuance to foreign citizens and stateless persons of all categories of visas, except for employees of diplomatic missions and consular offices, members of official delegations, aircraft, ship and boat crews, international railway train crews, as well as persons that permanently reside in the Russian Federation or those planning to attend the funeral of a close relative.

 

  بموجب قرار حكومة روسيا الاتحادية الرقم ٦٣٥ المؤرخ ١٦ آذار ٢٠٢٠ والمتخذ من أجل ضمان أمن روسيا وحماية صحة المواطنين ومنع انتشار فيروس كورونا المستجد يتم التقييد المؤقت لدخول مواطني الدول الأجنبية بما في ذلك مواطني جمهورية بيلاروس وكذلك الأشخاص عديمي الجنسية إلى الأراضي الروسية وذلك اعتبارا من الساعة ٠٠:٠٠ ١٨ آذار وحتى  الساعة ٠٠:٠٠ ١ أيار ٢٠٢٠.

 ويستثنى هذا القرار الفئات التالية: الموظفون المعتمدون أو المعينون للبعثات الدبلوماسية والقنصلية للدول الأجنبية في روسيا الاتحادية، موظفو المنظمات الدولية وممثلياتها وموظفو الممثليات الرسمية الأخرى للدول الأجنبية المتواجدة في الأراضي الروسية وكذلك أفراد عائلات الأشخاص المذكورين، سائقو السيارات العاملون في مجال النقل البري الدولي وطواقم الطائرات والسفن البحرية والنهرية وطواقم القطارات المشغلة في نقل السكة الحديدية الدولي، أعضاء الوفود الرسمية، الأشخاص الذين يحملون السمات الدبلوماسية وسمات الخدمة وكذلك السمات العادية الخاصة التي تم منحها بسبب بوفاة أحد من الأهل الأقرباء، الأشخاص الذين يقيمون في روسيا بشكل دائم وكذلك الأشخاص الذين يسافرون عبر نقاط العبور الجوية الروسية بشكل الترانزيت. تنفيذا لقرار الحكومة الروسية المذكور اعتبارا من الساعة ٠٠:٠٠ ١٨ آذار وحتى الساعة ٠٠:٠٠ ١ أيار ٢٠٢٠ يتم وقف منح سمات الدخول إلى روسيا لمواطني الدول الأجنبية والأشخاص عديمي الجنسية باستثناء السمات الدبلوماسية وسمات الخدمة للأشخاص المذكورين أعلاه والسمات العادية الخاصة للأشخاص القادمين إلى روسيا بسبب بوفاة أحد من الأهل الأقرباء.

The Consular Section of the Embassy informs that Consular section accepts visa application forms completed online only on the special website of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affair of the Russian Federation http://visa.kdmid.ru.

An applicant should visit the Consular Section of the Embassy personally.

Application forms should be filled in English or in Russian, printed and signed by applicants personally.

All questions in application forms should be answered. Incomplete visa application forms will not be processed. Visa application forms taken from other Internet sources as well as hand-written visa application forms will not be accepted.

Visa processing commences only after all necessary and proper documents have been presented by an applicant and accepted by a consular officer. Incomplete set of documents may lead to refusal of visa processing, or documents may be returned to an applicant undone.

In some cases the Consular officer may request additional documents.

Visa processing fees are not refundable.

Processing times, requirements and fees are subject to change without notice.

 

PRIVATE VISA

The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy by an applicant in person in order to obtain a private visa:

1) A valid passport (and a copy) which should have at least two clear visa pages and must be valid for not less than 6 months after the expiry date of the visa. 

2) Properly and fully completed and printed visa application form (one per person) http://visa.kdmid.ru.

3) Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.

4) 1. An origin of official invitation issued by an appropriate local migration branch of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs

    or

    2. A printed copy of an electronic invitation.

 

STUDY VISA

The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy by an applicant in person in order to obtain a study visa:

1) A valid passport (and a copy) which should have at least two clear visa pages and must be valid for not less than a year and 6 months after the expiry date of the visa. 

2) Properly and fully completed and printed visa application form (one per person) http://visa.kdmid.ru.

3) Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.

4) If an applicant is not invited by Russian Ministry of Education and Science:

1. An origin of official invitation issued by an appropriate local migration branch of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs

 or

 2. A printed copy of an electronic invitation.

 

BUSINESS OR HUMANITARIAN VISA

The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy by an applicant in person in order to obtain a business or humanitarian visa:

1) A valid passport (and a copy) which should have at least two clear visa pages and must be valid for not less than 6 months after the expiry date of the visa. 

2) Properly and fully completed and printed visa application form (one per person) http://visa.kdmid.ru.

3) Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.

4) 1. An origin of official invitation issued by an appropriate local migration branch of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs or Consular Department of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    or

    2. A printed copy of an electronic invitation.

 

WORK VISA

The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy by an applicant in person in order to obtain a work visa:

1) A valid passport (and a copy) which should have at least two clear visa pages and must be valid for not less than a year and 6 months after the expiry date of the visa. 

2) Properly and fully completed and printed visa application form (one per person) http://visa.kdmid.ru.

3) Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.

4) 1. An origin of official invitation issued by an appropriate local migration branch of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs

    or

    2. A printed copy of an electronic invitation.

 

TRANSIT VISA

The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy by an applicant in person in order to obtain a transit visa:

1) A valid passport (and a copy) which should have at least two clear visa pages and must be valid for not less than one and a half-year after the expiry date of the visa.

2) Properly and fully completed and printed visa application form (one per person) http://visa.kdmid.ru.

3) Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.

4) Valid tickets for entry and exit from the Russian Federation.

5) A valid visa to the country you want to enter after leaving Russia or passport of that state.
