Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation Anna Kuznetsova visits Syria

On February 4-6, 2020 Mrs. Anna Kuznetsova, Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation, visited Damascus. During her stay in the Syrian capital, she met with the Spouse of the President of the Syrian Arab Republic Mrs. Asma al-Assad and representatives of several Syrian humanitarian organizations.

As a result of this visit 26 Russian children were returned back to their homes from the IDP’s camps, located on the Syrian territory. Biomaterials for the DNA analyses were taken from 73 other children.
