Russian medical aid delivered to Syria

On April 17th, 2020 at the Ministry of Health of the Syrian Arab Republic a shipment of medical aid from Russia, including 50 ventilators, around 10000 COVID-19 test kits and 2000 protective suits, was handed out to the Syrian side.

The ceremony was attended by the Russian Ambassador to Syria H.E. Mr. Alexander Efimov, Syrian Deputy Health Minister Mr. Ahmad Khlifawi, Mr. Ildar Zaripov, representative of "Euro Polis" company which provided this help, as well as Russian and Syrian journalists.
