On October 1, 2020 the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Mr. Alexander Bastrykin visited Damascus. During his meetings with the Chairman of the National Security Bureau of the Syrian Arab Republic Mr.Ali Mamlouk and Syrian Minister of Justice Mr.Ahmad Al-Sayyid issues of continuing joint efforts in countering terrorism as well as strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of the law enforcement were discussed.
